Privacy, plainly
We collect only what we need to discuss projects, review builder expressions of interest, run our optional community, and improve this website. We don’t sell personal information.
Business enquiries
When you request a discovery call we collect your name, email, company, project type, and the details you choose to share. We use them to reply, assess the enquiry, arrange a call, and deliver requested studio services.
Builder expressions of interest
We collect your name, email, craft, current location if supplied, professional links, and your message. We use professional evidence such as portfolios, GitHub, LinkedIn, and shipped work to consider relevant paid project matches. Immigration background is not part of skill assessment, and work-eligibility details are requested only when a specific engagement requires them.
We aim to review new profiles internally within five business days. A review is not an offer of employment or a promise of work, and we do not send automated acceptance or rejection decisions. Project invitations are personal and specific.
Operational and community email
Every genuine EOI receives an operational confirmation so you know it arrived. This is separate from analytics and from the optional community choice on the form.
If you affirmatively opt in, we may send a Discord invitation, a short explanation of the community and paid project-matching model, and no more than monthly community updates. You can unsubscribe from community email at any time. Unsubscribing does not remove your talent profile or prevent a personal project invitation.
Analytics
Browser analytics is optional and controlled through the analytics settings on this site. Declining analytics does not affect forms, confirmations, or your community choice. We treat email opens as unreliable and focus on useful actions, delivery health, and meaningful participation.
Where information is processed
Supabase stores enquiries, builder profiles, consent state, and lifecycle records. PostHog supports optional website analytics and operational email sequencing. These providers process information for Okie doke under their service and security terms; PostHog is not our authoritative applicant database.
Retention and suppression
Inactive EOI profiles are reviewed after 24 months. We may ask whether you want the profile kept for another two years. Depending on your reply and our approved retention process, we continue it or remove the detailed application details. A separately chosen community subscription can continue until you unsubscribe. When necessary, we retain a minimal email suppression record so an unsubscribe, hard bounce, or complaint is not accidentally ignored.
Your choices
Use the link in a community email to unsubscribe. To access, correct, or delete information, or to leave the talent pool entirely, email hello@okiedoke.design. These requests are handled separately from community email preferences.
